soft and sweet...TSTR #120

Hello Tea Room Fans! Welcome to another challenge! This week Lenet is our host and she asks that we use the colours from the inspiration photo! Aren't they lovely and soft?

This week's sponsors are Little Darlings Rubber Stamps and Creating is Fun Shop. You have the change to win 1 stamp set from Little Darlings or a $10 gift certificate to Creating is Fun shop!

I chose to use the butterflies to represent the colours in the challenge this week!

Such a sweet image! I ran with the butterfly theme.. they are everywhere:

Loved this week's colour challenge.. I think I'll be returning to this sweet soft palette again!

time flies...

Goodbye May, you came and went far too quickly..

Goodbye spring, you were short and fleeting...

Goodbye brown-in between-season that we get here in our little town...

Hello June, half way through already...

Hello green foliage, it's about time we see you again...

Hello yard work, fresh cut grass, flowers sprouting and blooming.

Hello rising temperatures...

Hello sunshine...

Time certainly has been passing quickly around here.. I lost a month somewhere in between my birthday and now.. I've been keeping busy with a few orders here and there for some special people.. this is my first non design team post in a while! (Not going to lie, was a little bit disenchanted with posting other than for my weekly Shabby Tea Room challenges.. )Time to shake out the cobwebs and get right back into it!.  Just a quick little post today to get in on the challenge at City Crafter Challenge Blog. We are asked to use a clock somewhere on our project. I layered a great Prima chipboard embellie on top of a vintage pocket watch(Graphics Fairy)
I'm off to link up!
Happy Weekend!

E.T.A Thanks for the DT at CCCB for choosing me as a spotlight artist for week 114! Such an honour:)

diamonds are a girls best friend...TSTR #119

Hello new weekly challenge at The Shabby Tea Room. This week Fran is our hostess and she asks that we use:
                                         -COLOURS FROM THE INSPIRATION PHOTO
                                         - PEARLS AND CRYSTALS!

We are lucky to have TWO sponsors for this week's challenge. Digital Papers by Janet(Etsy) and Meljen's Designs. I chose to use the "Stamped with Love" image from Meljen and Antique Papers from Janet's Etsy store! This week you have a chance to win 4 images from Meljen's or 3, 2 or 1 collages (for 1st, 2nd or 3rd place respectively) from Janet's!!

I LOVED this challenge.. any opportunity I get to add some sparkle and bling I jump at the chance! That inspiration picture is just stunning! Let's dazzle!

Aren't those frames just too cute? I fussy cut them both, cut out the center of one and added some muslin to hold my pin and crystals..the other I left intact.

A shabby bloom with stacked pearls in the center..

Loving the papers by Janet.. sooo beautiful. So, what are you waiting for, come join in the challenge this week!

I'm headed to check out the rest of the Shabby Design Team. Won't you join me?

This was such  fun template to work with! It would be fabulous for holding gift bags full of goodies for a sweet, homemade gift. I'm using it to hold some fabby cameos and frames as well as some trims.. It's such a cute addition to my crafty space!

sweet summertime...TSTR #117

Hello Tea Room fans!

It's Monday and we are back with another fabby Shabby Tea Room challenge. This week the lovely Starr is our hostess and she asks that we use;
                                            -COLOURS: PINK, BROWN AND TEAL/AQUA
                                            -BLING!

We are lucky to have not one but TWO sponsors this week! Robyns Fetish Digital Stamps and Little Things For Cute Creations Etsy. You have the chance to win 5 digital images from Robyn's and a $15 gift certificate to Little Things For Cute Creations. Ready to play?!

I used the "I Heart You" heart and sentiment to create an everyday occasion card.. when I think of bling I think of pretty half pearls, gorgeous ornate frames.. glittery buttons... all of which I used here today.

Totally digging the fancy script.. the frilly heart behind the frame is the second half of the I Heart You image!

Loving the pink, brown and aqua colour scheme.. It will be one I turn to again.

Don't forget to stop by the Shabby Girl's blogs to see more great ideas!
